Planar Provides LED Video Walls for NBC Olympics for Production of 2018 Winter Games

For its production of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, South Korea, NBC Olympics, a division of the NBC Sports Group, selected Planar to provide fine pitch LED video walls for its set within the International Broadcast Center. Planar® TWS Series LED video walls were subsequently installed, which included a 43-foot-wide by 13-foot-tall installation, a 16-foot-wide by 8-foot-tall installation as well as three 4-foot-wide, 7-foot-tall video walls in an area used for athlete interviews.

The collection of Planar TWS Series LED video walls provided NBC’s set with a stunning backdrop to their broadcast coverage of the Games, helping to enhance the visual impact of the sporting event.
