Project Overview
Emory University’s new Health Sciences Research Building II (HSRB-II) is a state-of-the-art facility that brings together research scientists across multiple specialties to address today’s most demanding human health challenges. The eight-story, 350,000-square-foot building incorporates advanced laboratories, a large central atrium and spaces that are intentionally designed to engage visitors and foster collaboration among the resident scientific community.
To execute this vision, four experiential programs using Planar LED and LCD display technologies were designed throughout key areas in the building to inspire communication, innovation and creativity. Additionally, the same experiential elements added to HSRB-II were also integrated into HSRB-I, an existing 190,000-square-foot building immediately adjacent to HSRB-II.
